Anybody know why?? Does it make them more stable?? If so why arent all tandem trailers built this way?
They use the spread axle design for stability. It helps prevent the rocking back and forth that they have done in the past and I think it helps support the frame a little better too. The reason why you don't find this on other trailers??? When was the last time you saw a 27' flatbed that had two axles placed nearly in the middle?
