What I haul with my truck.

    Just thought someone might want to know. What do you haul with your truck?


    That is a 48 volt battery around 3700 lbs.

    I haul a 3200lb 72 Nova an an 18' flat trailer. I'm a lightweight here.:)

    I work for the lift truck industry. That battery is for a piece of equipment that picks up huge spools of yarn waiting to become very expensive rugs.
    The battery is being scraped because it began costing too much to repair so they bought a new one. I have been known to haul three of these at once, but we won't tell the D.O.T. that......:D

    Does Shaw or somebody use those?I saw NW Ga so I'm figuring Dalton carpet mills.

    Yeah it is a carpet mill battery. I service batteries and chargers in AL,GA, and TN.;)

    my truck with 34k miles on it has hauled anything and everything. 7 trailers that have had anything from automotive parts to horses to household goods. heaviest i have weighed in at was 28,292lbs.

    my main pull is my 32 foot goose neck with my "sjop" and my blazer on it. thats when i weigh the most.

    nice battery.

    cost of batteries

    Depending on the configuration, anywhere from $1800 to $5000.

    my truck was bought to haul all construction equipment from a rubber
    tire hoe, to water pumps & pipe, all with a 30' H&H trailer.

    Ive probably hauled a lil bit of everything, basically whatever i can make $2 a mile for. within my wieght limits of course:pimp:
