I just bought my new trailer and need to get some straps to secure vehicles on it. Anyone have any good sites to purchase this stuff. Or things you have bought and had problems with yourselves. I have more than enough heavy cargo straps for the time being but would like to get a set of wheel straps for hualing nicer vehicles. Thanks for any inputs.

home Depot sells 10000lb straps for about $15 each. they work perfect for what I use them for.

I got mine complete with axle straps and kevlar protectors for, IIRC, about $100 from an online company that specializes in making them for car haulers of all sorts. Show vehicles, race vehicles, and many others. Can't remember the name right now though, but I think I posted a link to it on here about 6 months ago if you want to search it out. I'm very happy with them...

be sure you check the laws of the states you drive through. cali is "metal with metal"

i have NEVER had any issues with them taking notice to my straps and saying anything. i now run chains because i got 13 40k aircraft chains for the great price of free.

im all about straps, but some sort of cover is needed to keep them from freying on sharp objects.
