Black Stack...

    Who makes one? i hate chrome. im looking for a black 5 or 6 inch slash cut 36 incher. just HATE chrome. anyone? i cant find anythign on the net, but maybe someone knows somethign i dont.... or if i have to strip the chrome off of one... that would take a while...:mad:

    contact these people, it the place "trick my truck","chrome shop mafia" is from. I have seen 1 of there trucks with black stacks. if they are out there they would know.

    ill see what i can do. just for the record i hate that show, they do nice work, but the acting... if you want to call it that... is un needed and sucks. plus they need to show engine and drivetrain work as well.

    call your local truck shops and get a plain non chrome stack and paint it with high temp paint.

    just get plane 5" exhaust pipe and BBQ paint

    powder coat will never hold up to the heat.

    Powder coated black with hold up...I have 2 6" miter cuts that are powder coated and no problems what so ever.... The cross over or Y pipe is just the 500* engine paint.. I have had a couple of customers ask about the powder coated stacks so I decided to do some testing. After a 20 mile drive I can lay my hand against the stacks and they are a little warm. Exhuast temps for the 20 miles stays between 500*-600* pre-turbos.
