not a day goes by i can't get away fixing....... went 800 miles last wekeend towing my gooseneck, and guess what, my ford craps out on my on the return leg in the driveway before i reach the building. what a good spot for it to die! i had an intution it was the cam sensor that went, as it restarted 1/2 hour later, and the fuses where good, and the tach was inop when dead but i brought hoem the WDS to check it out for good. this scanner ROCKS! shure enough, it ws a cam sensor and 10 min later it was running well again figured i would fix the tire that i picked up a nail in while out on the trip and adjust the rear brakes right away. first time i got to tow triple trailers this week. a pair of doubles is hooked on behind that tractor that i have the tow truck hooked to. a "that a boy" to any one who can name the car in the foreground and what engine it has in it.
At least the CPS picked a good spot to die in, usually that doesnt happen. The name of that car is on the tip of my tongue.....the father of a girl I went to HS with had one.....
it is a "true" excaliper, but the engine he gave is off pretty far. hard to believe they shoved big blocks in them!
Its the excaliber kit car right? To be honest I didn't know the original had a big block. Thought they were all smallblocks. Learn something new........ George
no, 454... has volkswagon lights on it though asnd corvette suspension. im kinda surprized no one is bitching about my bumper jack.
Well we would but you distracted everybody with the question about the Excalibur. waytogo Excalibur, that was easy, now the question about which engine that was a little more difficult. I'm with George, I didn't know they had built any with a big block.
