I'll know for sure tomorrow night but it looks like I sold my K5. The best part is I got waht I was asking without loosing any money on it. My 80 Malibu weighs about half what the K5 does so I guess that's a plus

Bryan, I was hoping you were just going through a phase or something.

Now that you sold your K5 you are gonna have to work out twice as hard to prove your manliness  :pimp:

I think you should get one of those cool Ricer Neon SRT's and put some flourecant lighting under it (PINK WOULD BE REAL COOL)!!!! rotfl

I was thinking more of a purple but pink would be good too ;)

Not going to be doing the 4x4 thing for a while. My second job usually takes at least 1 of my weekend days and it's really a pain when I want to wheel cause the nearest place is like 3 hours away.
I'm building an 80 Malibu street car so I can kill some of those pretty pink ricers waytogo

Looks like it sits a little high in the front, is there a motor in it?

Nope, no motor or trans. I bought it like that. I took the 454 out of my K5. It will soon be a 454 roller motor and a Th400 w/9' rear

Thats nothing to be flaunting about, since the rest of the drivetrain is Chevy.

If it had a Ford motor and trans with nothing but just a chevy rear end, then it would be gloating time.:D

In all seriousness, the Ford 9" is the cats meow, as any car enthusiast knows.;)

The 454 is not going in it. I've been working on a turbocharged LS1 motor. I'm shooting for 650-700 hp and the rear wheels. Should run some high 9 sec 1/4 miles

Using the turbo will make a ricer want to not run you its funny they use n2o,or turbo and they want to race the world until a V8 shows up on spray or running any form of forced induction,I'm not saying there isnt any fast ricers out there but most of em or gay air intakes and fart cans I used to own a ricer I just learned there is no replacement for displacement you can beat larger cubic inches with less cubic inches only way I could beat a slow V8 was to drop all my unneeded wieght.

NO worries here. I even thought about buying a mustang before the Malibu but it would have been chevy powered of course :D
The nine inch is just too easy not to do. Want to change gears, just swap out 3rd members.
Most over the ricers, even the turbos would be happy to ever see 12's, possibly an 11 sec 1/4 mile. It costs a LOT to make one as fast as a V8, esp one that has any form of forced induction. Best thing about my setup is that if I want to cruise it on the street I can still get 20-25 mpg, drive it to the track and run a 9 sec 1/4 and then drive it home waytogo
