Hey guys, I actually found this site by accident - somebody on cumminsforum.com posted a link to a K5 Blazer and I noticed it was hosted over here, so I stopped by and signed up! I just bought my 2001 Dodge 2500 4x4 about 2 months ago, and I'm still learning all kinds of stuff. A lot still goes over my head but some of it's sinking in. Here's a timeline of my past vehicles: (notice they keep getting bigger and better!) 1992 Mazda MX-3 GS, 1.8L V6 (YES, it's a V6 and not a 4cyl.) 1995 Dodge Dakota, 3.9L V6 (only kept it 10 months) 1995 Chevy C1500, 5.0L V8, 5 speed, Hypertech chip, sold it last month after 4 years. 1984 Toyota 4x4 SOLID AXLE Pickup, 2.4L 4cyl, used as a daily driver until I got the diesel, now it's my trail rig. 2001 Dodge 2500 4x4. Found it on eBay and drove nearly 600 miles to SC to buy it. Pictures: (No picture of the Dakota, it was a good looking truck but not important enough to keep pics.) The Dodge is VERY stock (the above pic was the one used in the eBay ad.) I plan on keeping the truck for a very long time and have a very long list of planned mods. Currently I've got vent visors, replaced the front driver's headlight (foggy lens), upgraded lights to Sylvania Silverstars (also upgraded Toyota truck to same), and 4" stainless straight pipe exhaust out the back. Diamond plate bed rails and a tailgate cover should be here any day. The good thing about buying a TOTALLY stock truck (other than a bedliner) is that ALL of the mods are MINE! Got a lot to do in the next week or so: * Diamond plate front bed cap (done) * Diamond plate side bed rails * Diamond plate full tailgate cover (in progress) * Stainless steel rocker panels (will pick up this weekend) * Panasonic CQ-C8303U CD/MP3 player (should arrive early next week) * Dual Wilson CB antennas mounted on bed (have to wait on diamond plate before I drill holes) I think I'm gonna like this place.
