I originally posted this under the Duramax site but thought everyone else may like to see it. Long story short, my buddy went off into an area that looked dry but was far from it. His jeep has 37 inch MTRs and he was barried to the hubs before he knew it. I still haven't stopped teasing him that a chevy had to pull him out.
That thing must have open diffs at both ends to get stuck in what 'appears' to be 6 inches of muck................rotfl and maybe bald tires. You SHOULD harass him!
Actually he's locked front and rear with 4.56 gears. His jeep is a beast for rock crawling, but the MTRs just filled up with mud and didn't clean out so it was like he had slicks on it. I harrass him a minimum of at least 5 times a day not to mention I forwarded everyone in the shop the pictures.
now to be fair you s houl dtry to cross it in your chevy, so that way he ha sa turn to tow you out. you can't haress him till you outdo it..............
My truck would have sunk to the frame and it would still be there!rotfl Good thing we both had tow straps. If not we would have had to run his winch line under his jeep to reach. If you noticed I didn't get off of the rocks!
