Its a Mega Cab dually with a stretched frame and a 8' dually bed put on it. I like how it turned out.

I do too, however, I don't know if I would really like to drive it around town and try to park it, but it would be an excellent tow vehicle because of the wheel base/dually. I would assume that it weighs a ton or 4, and that it might not be able to tow as much legally.

I just got off the phone with Kadell Suggs who owns the company that does the conversion(Central Texas Frame & Alignment, phone number 1(800)561-1605) and he says that it'll cost about $6,500.00 to do the longbed conversion on a Mega Cab. He also said that within the week, he'll have a website for his company up along with more info about the truck and the differences in length and wheelbase between it and a crewcab longbed Ford Superduty.

Ok..... that is about the nicest looking truck I have seen in a while. The 19.5's really set it off, just a bummer he went with cheesy steels with chrome covers. It would get an A+ from me if he had 19.5 Alcoas on it like an F450-550.

Kadell(owner of the truck) told me the other day whe I talked to him on the phone that he's looking for some 19.5s off of a F550 to put on it in place of the Rickson's.

Cool idea, but wrong bolt pattern. Won't work.

I had 10 lug 19.5's on my 2003 dually and they look efin awesome!

The Dodge and Chevy sshare the same bolt pattern. Ford is an od ball, and the F550 even more so.

He could always get adapters so that idea would work.

I don't know if adapters would be realistic. Ford uses an 8 on 170mm bolt pattern and Dodge an GM use an 8 on 6.5"
No sense in making adapters for a bolt pattern that close, why not get the right wheels? There are wheels out for those bot patterns. For that fact, there is a company in stockton (Stockton wheel?) that will weld up the wheels and drill them out to whatver pattern you wnat and it will still be less than adapters. I just had 10 lugs cause one of my customers (rick) wanted to get rid of them.

The more you look at it the better it looks and those 19.5's would look very nice on it

The bolt pattern you're speaking of is the bolt pattern on the F250/F350. The F450/F550 bolt pattern is compleely different. There are adapters out there for the application that Kadell wants.

yeah the cab actually looks proportionate to the rest of the truck... i like it. although the mega cab short bed dually is pretty cool looking w/ the old-school fenders.

If Dodge would offer a REGULAR Sized CrewCab they could put a longbed on it w/o any concerns...
