Just wondering if anyone has pieced the parts together? I know Dynatrac sells a kit for $1600.

My truck is a daily driver, 2-4mpg savings is worth me telling my passenger to get the hell out and lock the hub's.:D

You don't have auto locking hubs. Dodge took a giant step back in time. The "modern" system keeps the entire front running gear turning all the time, just like ancient 4x4 drive systems! :doah:

Pete, so you got the truckwaytogo

4 mpg sounds quite optimistic. There are a few companies assembling kits besides Dynatrac. I'm on the fence on this. I want to do it just can't justify the price. The 70 mph vibes and the thought of always turning all the front ujoints bugs the crap out of me though.

    Hey Jim, what's going on?

The 2-4mpg is what Dynatrac claims. Yeah, I hate the vibes around 75.

BOZ, shoot me a PM when you get the kit together.

I'm working on it... Basically building my own stuff, just using dually dana 60 hubs and spindles and making my own adapter from the dodge knuckle to the dana 60 spindle. Then a custom stub shaft and I should be set... I'm still collecting cheap parts but when I get it all I'll make a build thread or something.

    Shaun,
You're lucky I let you sit inside my truck and not in the bed or on the trailer.rotfl
