    Here is the story..........
As you know we have had 2 snow storms in the past few weeks......south/eastern colorado got hit harder than ever, if you have been watching the news you can see how bad it really is down there.
We own a home in Campo, CO. This is almost to the Oklahoma line, in Bacca County--the hardest hit.
The National Guard is flying in hay to drop over fields hoping they get it near cattle....who can't move at all currently. Campo is a small town....population of maybe a few hundred, a great community filled up with farmers and ranchers.
We have been in contact with our "neighbors" checking in to see how its going and what, if anything we can do to help them.
SO......HERE IT WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:
I need some snowmobiles (or a snocat) to use for the weekend (or people who own them to help drive them). 1,2, 3, 4....whatever. I talked with our friend down there and every dealership anywhere around is sold out completely.
Snowmobiles are about the only thing they can use to move around anywhere down there....it those are sometimes hard to use.
I just got off the phone with them.....in 2 FULL days of using a two giant front end loaders (Cats) they made it 4 miles down the county road....trying to get out to the pastures in the grasslands. That shows you how bad it truly is.
I am searching anywhere to find some "sleds" to haul down there to help get out to livestock to check on them and possibly get some food to them. These will not be abused or used for any "extreme" use. This is strictly to help out a needed community, a charity cause.
If you still don't think its bad...just watch 9 news as they show Springfield, CO almost everynight...that is just 20 miles north of Campo.
PLEASE let me know if you have sleds, availability of them, or have ideas. Currently I can not offer $$ due to lack of it....I am just trying to get a plan in place and get down there ASAP before they lose livestock.
PLEASE RESPOND OR PM ME ASAP...YOU CAN ALSO CALL ME AT 303-666-8914
    Thanks Curtis

Hey, did you guys ever get any sleds out to help with the feeding? Never owned a snowmobile but after this winter in Denver I might think about getting one for a daily driver. Hope everything worked out allright.

Man I'd love to go out there and help, I've got sleds, but I don't have any utility snowmobiles that would work for that type of purpose. I've got you guys in my prayers though.

Thanks for the response. A couple of guys did come through w/ sleds which helped those guys out quite a bit. We'll see what this next storm on Friday has in store.
