Hey guys, looks like Ive tradede sides. My dodge sold tonight and I going to get a Dmax tonight. Its a 2002 2500 4 door 4x4 short bed. Have to say Im gonna miss my Cummins alot, I still think that they are the best diesel, but I love that GM truck. Looks like I may have to change my name from cumminzrig to Dmaxrig. burnout

Glad you have seen the light!!! the Cummins is a great motor and will last longer than most others...however the D-max is definetly proving itself to be great as well. Not to mention that the GM trucks are built so much better than the dodge trucks. Have fun!!waytogo

Hey guys, I love the truck!!!!!!! The truck has a bully dog chip, Im not sure exactly which one or how much extra ponys are added but it scoots down the road, very very nice. The GM is such a nice truck. Does anyone know how much power the 02 Duramax puts out stock, hp/tq?

For '02, 312/525 seems right from memory, but I could be wrong...

    Brisk had it right.

The LB7 motor ('01-04.5) was factory rated at 300/520 respectively.

Ok, chalk up another to my failing memory. I'll blame it on old age. :D
