I am looking to level the truck out, and keep hearing about the death wobble. I think I experienced it once when driving a used vehicle ? It felt like a frog with the hiccups at about 70 . I thought I was going to wreck the truck before I could get it stopped . Is this caused by adding the spacers above the coils someone please explain this to me so I dont make a stupid decision and put them on. I thought it was just somthing wrong with the used truck, cause it made the whole truck jump up and down

Opinions as to what causes DW are like as..holes, everybody's got em. Many guys say more positive caster cures everything, it'd be nice if it was always that simple! Do some searches on death wobble and good luck!

this is the strange thing i didtn really think of it till now but this is the only place ive ever heard of death wobble, by no means am i sayin it dont exist or anything liek that but i know of at least 10 guys with lifted truck and none of em have ever said anything about it.ive been in lifted trucks that kinda bounce up and down with the big tires as ya go down the road but i dotn think this is what were talkin about. i imagine it feels liek when you first take off in a old dump truck with bias ply tires and your bouncing for a while before tehy round out only other thing i can imagine is liek when my buddies tie rod broke his 80's caprice at about 50 or so and that is some scary **** man, that was definatly on my top 5 list of oh **** im going to die moments and dont want to experiance that again
