Well thats actually not that bad when you look at the regular price to buy tires and wheels for a normal dually. Plus you get the sweet wheels and tires that go for 150,000 miles....

I have 17s on my truck. I will be hauling at least 15,000lbs every day. Which wheel/tire combo would be best for my truck?

BTW I will be buying the new Dodge 5500 when it comes out. It comes standard with 19.5 wheels. If I could run 22.5s or 24s on the truck I have now I could switch them to the new truck right? And I would love to have tires that could run 150,000 miles!!

Ok, I'm looking to do the 22.5's on my F550 dually, but I'd like to do super singles on the rear. I'd like to get a tire that 15" to 17' wide, so I need to know is what size wheel do I need? I found a couple of 22.5 floats, but I don't know how wide the wheel is. The tires on the wheels now are 315/80/22.5. And I have 2 weeks to do this in, and if you know me thats not much time :> Going to see the mouse :> pulling my 32 foot Keystone Sprinter. And thanks for any help.

    Big Rig 22.5's

Ok I did it, and wow I like it alot. I got 4 22.5 Alcoa Dura-Brites and 2 steels for the inside. With Firestone's (255's) The ride is nice and the look is Real NICE. I think I need to do a 2" lift, so I can still haul a load of dirt if I need to. I have pics of it on Thoroughbred Diesel. Its the F550 Dump. I still need to get sum rear fenders for it, the tires hang out like an inch outside the dump dody, and when it rains its like having a jet boat on the sides of the truck, can't see a thing out the mirrors :> so sum more work to be done.

American force wheels, bad news! No warranty!

SORRY TO POST ONTO AN OLD THREAD, BUT I THOUGHT I'D PUT MY TWO CENTS IN.

We installed numerous sets of the 19.5" American Force direct bolt-on wheels a while back. They did fit well, and the aluminum wheels were good looking.

The problem is that the clearcoat peeled off of the wheels. When we called American Force to warranty the wheels for our customers, we were told that the wheels were out of stock, and that they would deal with the situation when they got them back in inventory. This was over a year ago.

In the meantime, on the advice of American Force, we replaced the wheels for the customers with the ones from American Eagle. Great people over there by the way.

Now that we have the American Force wheels back, they refuse to offer us any help on the cost of the warranty. I have called them numerous times with regard to the issue, and was initially promised $300 per set to offset the cost of repolishing the finish.

Now when I call Ray to check on the money, I am told that "we're done talking buddy. I'm not paying you anything. Sue me."

Note. I purchased and installed 8 sets of these things from the company. Quick math tells you that you still make money if you return these three sets.
Quicker math tells you not to ever buy a product from a company who doesnt stand behind it
