Looked at the 08 6.4 last night and OMG what a good looking truck and my wife totally digs the tailgate steps and the retracting step guards. So now I am thinking about the 08's and selling my 05 casue this time I want a straight shift and a diesel with duallys and some Tow Command going on. I figure I could sell my truck and in about a year go ahead and get a 09 so the first few issues would be fixed and hope to go its not like a 6.0's. Other cool things I like Sat radio,audio controls on the steering wheel,sun roof,leather some of the things I kinda picked on the other trucks or said I wouldnt have I like on this one.
$51,800 I was going to test drive one today but I honestly felt a bit to tired after sleeping all day Sunday and not sleeping before work. My truck is great and I like it still but I want the power of the 6.4 I think they will need a bit of time still to see how good it works out so I honestly dont want to be a guinee pig right now.
I have a hard time shelling out 58k for a new truck when I think of all the upgrades i could do to mine and it would be paid for alot sooner. don't get me wrong they look sweet

I know, why do they have to be so expensive? I mean pretty much everyone here drives them anyways so Ford is definately getting their money back. But for those of us that aren't millionaires we're stuck with not being able to drive what we want! I would just buy a cheap base model and then fix it up how I want, but even the base models are expensive!
dodge has a mega dually at the dealership that i want... but its an auto and a 5.9L... sticker is 51k... nope. not gonna happen. why are they already stocking 08's? Grant
that dodge your lookin at, is it a 08 with the 5.9? and when are they gonna put out a mega cab witha a long bed....if they had one out there id be interested in trading in my beast.
theres no 08 dodges out until 08's are suppose to be out. ford is the only one with 08's. kinda like when gm brought out the new tahoe early. And they made them 08's cuz they didnt want two diff body styles of 07's. also 51k for a dodge is rediculous!
they have the 08 down here in Texas at a local dealership.Its just the cab and chasis right now but they have them.
