How do these compare to carson and big tex?

I won't buy a big tex as I have seen too many of them with bad welding/finish work. I have seen a bunch of carson's and they always seem of good quality.

Any insight? I like the kaufmans since you can get one with an 8K axle package (bigger breaks and 6 lug axles), but just haven't seen any.

I am looking to get an 18-20' car trailer this summer and am just doing my homework.

there are two kaufman trailer companies out there... the one out of kaufman texas is where i got my trailer. 32 foot flat bed goose tri axle. LOVE it. i will always deal with them if they have the model i am looking into. welds look great, trailer drags nice empty or loaded, quality of work is great. the deck boards were very straight, and nice quality wood. the customer service was awesome. they dealt with me over the phone while i was in Iraq. had no isses with them and they didnt get upset that i lost connection twice and had to cal them back. i recomend them to everyone looking for a trailer that they make.

custom orders are easy with them, and they are FAST!!

te other company, i think is out of NJ, and i have not heard a good thing about them...

Kaufman trailers are in NC. They make a great trailer. I have seen them and bought them. Hard to find a better built trailer for the money. I know, I looked ....waytogo http://www.kaufmantrailers.com/

I got mine from the one in TX, it's a GREAT trailer and it was a great price. There is a thread in this forum somewhere that has lots of pics of it.

I bought a new 2 car wedge in 01 and other than the crap paint it was ok. Maybe they have started using better paint and applying more than one thin coat by now.
