more boost

    i have heard about an adjustable elbow that goes between the turbo and the waste gate actuator for more boost. if anyone has any idea where i can find such a device please relay it. i have a 2001 ram cummins 5 speed gauges and box just lookin for more boost.

    Basically any retailer can get you one. Dieselnutmotorsports will likely respond and can get you one delivered.

    Just remember; more boost past a few PSI does not = more air (oxygen), just hotter air-less density.
    That's right, NO NET GAIN. For that, a performance or "towing" turbo is in your future that can move more air at the the same PSI and therefore cooler air.

    He's got an HX35, so he should be able to bump it up to about 30-32psi and not effect air temps too badly. As long as he doesn't get much over that, it'll stay cool.

    Red; I agree. He has a bigger exhaust housing so should still be close to his turbo's efficiency map.
