So i was driving to the store today and saw this 2005 or 06 F350. What I noticed that i thought was strange was he got all the badges off from a new F450 and put them on his old truck.......sound kinda "poser-ish" to me if you know what im sayin
Tons of guys, mostly guys with lifted Super Duties, like to put on the F450 through 750 badges on their 250 or 350. For some reason..... they think this is cool.....:dunno: I actually have a set of "Kenworth T1000" badges coming and I plan on puttiing them on my Dodge.... think anyone will notice I'm full of it????rotfl
i saw an F-550 badge on a F-350, lifted WAY above the limit, with WAY oversized tires and the cops dont say anything cuz he is a First Responder, he also had holes where the dually flares were in the bed...
some guys do it i heard because the frame height restriction is hogher off the ground for a 450-750 than a 250 and 350 but i just heard that dont know if it is true. and ford made f-450's and 550's in 06 that look just like the normal 1 tons but the bed is slightly longer, you can tell by the little gap piece on the front of the bed.opcorn:
1. The cop would have to be pretty flippin' dumb to let someone get away with that because they have a different emblem on it. Most guys can tell the difference between an F250 and an F750, BUT.... I'm not saying you are wrong either as I don't really know for sure. 2. F450's and F550's look different due to the 19.5" wheels. The bodies and bed look identical.
well yeah the 19.5's duh but on the front of the bed there is like a cap on there look one up on ebay.but yes the do look alike....except for the big front fender flares on all 4x4's
OK i must be a dumbass if i couldnt tell the difference between the old one and the new one. i saw the grill and i could tell it wasnt a new one
Bobby - On the 450 and 550, the frame length is slightly longer than the 350 long bed, so when upfitting a dually bed to a 450 or 550, about 4 or 5 inches must be added to the front of the bed to get a factory appearance as far as cab/bed spacing. You can see this if you looke closely at the front of the bed and you can see the seam from the extra length.
