Well we're all packed up, hop in the truck and hit the road. On the way to the highway I'm applying the manual switch on the Jordan to warm up my trailer brakes to adjust them. I get nothing at first, then gradually the brakes start working, (this is all pretty normal), then suddenly they're on 100% and the read out shows 11 amps.
I turn down the gain, same thing, brakes are locked, controller is getting hot. Unlpug the trailer, the brakes release, plug it back in, full lock again.

We're heading out on a 3 week trip, now we're back home, Jordan has a free help line that opens tomorrow at 5 eastern time.

It seems like the Jordan is screwy and putting out max to the brakes, The controller is just over a year old, been great until now.

We'd really like to get going today, any ideas on what's up with this thing?

Jordan's shot, put my friend's Tekonsha on, we leave in the morning (after I call Jordan to see if they'll send a new one).waytogo

Got my money back on the Jordan, got a Tekonsha P3 and so far I like it. Put it down by the shifter, looks good there, the plastic they use seems to match the Dodge interior pretty well, will hafta put a pic in my gallery.
