So do you guys like those new flares with the dually?

Personally i think they look incredible, waytogo way way more cleaner than the old ones and the new ones also give the truck an agressive look. I saw one at the store and was amazed:eek:

O also another thing i noticed......they are still using the old mirror design, they should definetly redesign those and do something like what is on the new superduty waytogo

I've only seen those fenders on the mega cabs. I assumed it is because it is only a short bed. I know the mega cabs are only avalible in sort bed. I didn't measure or have any proof, but I don't think the regular fenders would fit on a short bed.

As for the mirrors, I think dodge has the best mirrors on the market. I definetly like mine. Just my opinion.

Yeah, those are Mega cab only due to the short bed.

They look like the old late 80's dually fenders, and some of those trucks are the ugliest things ever to hit the road. So no, I think they need to cut the overgrown Bushwacker fender flares off and redesign the real dually fenders to fit on a short bed.

Apparently you've never used a Dodge truck with those mirrors.....

Dodge was using that new generation mirror that works incredibly well long before GM or Ford ever got passed the head scratching stage of building a plastic style mirror that actually works. We can only hope that Dodge leaves those mirrors alone and keeps them on the future model years.

Ya know what looks nice? The new Chevy/GMC body style. Has that flared fibergalss fender race truck/prerunner look. Not that I'd buy one. IFS is for GIRLS. :):stir:

While I like the new front clip on the new Chevys, I am not a fan of the bedsides, the fenders look huge and gaudy.

I think the Rams looked much better with the larger fender flares than those of the late 80's and now, granted that your more than likely to get damage from a tight fit or inexperinced driver in your rig but you can fit a bit wider tires on the rear and still not have them sling things all over your truck.

That sucks that they only come on the megacabs:mad: but i think they look pretty cool, the regular fenders just look way to big, the new ones are slick

I never did like the old first generation flares . That is what the mega monster reminds me of. To his own liking! I plan to put a small flare on my 07 when I can find some I like.

Ditto! If I had just bought a new Mega Cab dually I'd come up with some OEM real fender flares and take them to a body shop and see if they could trim them down to fit the shortbed. Those bushwacker looking flares just kill the look of the new duallys.

I guess I am the odd man out. I loved the first gens, but my first diesel was one, so there you go. I have a 90 right now, nothing special, beat up, but good truck. The nice thing about the little fenders on the old trucks is they are stout. Really takes alot to hurt them.

I love the Mega Cab dually trucks. I don't care for the single wheel version, but I love the dually.
