Mine was a '83 Chevy K5 Blazer with the 6.2L diesel and a 700R4 in it. Its the rig that got me into diesels. Damn thing was stolen from my uncle's driveway in June 2002.

I still do visit my uncle every once in a while, but needless to say he'll never be borrowing any of my vehicles any time soon.

1961 Chev Impala, 327/3 on the tree, found it sitting on blocks in the back of a used car lot and paid $100 for it. They put wheels/tires on it and after they drove it said that I got a heck of a deal. I put 7 transmissions in it one summer. Sold it for $100 after a year.

Other vehicles titled to me in order.
63 Falcon that I bought from my Dad the day I graduated from HS,
    65 Buick Wildcat,
    62 Falcon,
73 Honda CL100 (Don't laugh it was free and I rode it to work for 2 years),
    72 Chevelle,
75 Toyota SR5 Sport Truck (a real POS),
75 Honda CL175 (OK, laugh..now stop, put lots of miles on it),
    74 GMC 2500 Camper Special,
79 VW Rabbit diesel (New, wish I had it now, Put gas engine in it at 150k miles),
68 Dodge Boyertown Stepvan (Used as portable welding shop, put Chevelle eng/trans in place of stant 6),
    74 Jeep J20 360/auto,
    83 Suzuki GS450L (New),
    68 Dodge stepside p/u,
    79 Pontiac Lemans wagon,
    86 VW Jetta (New),
    87 VW Scirroco,
74 International 18' box truck w/2500# lift gate,
    84 VW Scirroco,
    82 VW Rabbit,
80 VW Rabbit, (bought at a yard sale, fixed it on the spot and drove it home $300),
    74 Mercedes 240D/4 spd,
    72 Dodge 22yd Tandem Dump/318 Detroit/13 over,
    76 Mercedes 240D/auto,
    87 Cadillac Fleetwood Broughm,
    81 F-100 (still drive it),
    87 Pontiac Fiero V6/5spd (Free),
?? Suzuki 400 single cylinder street bike (Free)
95 Chrysler Lebaron Convertable (still drive it, hate it)
90 VW Jetta diesel/5spd (gave to grandaughter...stupid, stupid me, she drives it everyday. Won't give it back),
    90 F-350 diesel/5sp Crewcab dually,
    03 F-350 6.0L diesel/6sp CC dually (driving it).

In addition I got into building Falcons and had 3 others besides those listed. Same with the Mercedes, 3 240D, 1 220D, and 1 190D. VW's too.

I must take after my Uncle in IA, on Google Earth you could see the cars at his house...17 at one time running and insured.

"So what was everyones first car.....just curious what you guys got when you were 16."

Oops! Didn't know you meant first car at age 16! LoL j/k
My first was a '59 Ford p/u when I was 13. Did my first engine swap at 14 when I got a 64 1/2 Mustang body. I got over the Fords fast and happily went GM ever since.... until now.

I would love to have that '71 Demon right now. Those little cars didn't weight squat and the 340 was a serious runner stock. With a little massaging, the 340 will make anyone's small-block and many big-blocks very nervous.:pimp:

    cars

If I had both of those dodges, I could sell them and take the rest of the year off! The Demon would whip up on 396 chevelles and 383 chargers that my buds had. It put a spanking on a 327 vette that had headers. Boy, was that fella upset. Guess he had never run into a 340 before!!!
