That's a good write up on it. Sounds like it would do the job just fine. I sure like the one that came on my 06 Ford. It works great with my disk brakes on the Fifth Wheel.

I did see the website, It looks nice. I am telling you people you have no idea how good this brake controller is until you try it. It was the best 350 dollars i ever spent.

I am not really sure how the brake smart works but i have heard that you cant find the brake smart any more. With the maxbrake it is simple but a great controller. I been having mine for a couple of months and i pull different trailers. I have yet to touch it. Loaded or unloaded trailer 30 foot or 16 foot i never have to adjust it. Hope this helps you.

i looked up the brake smart and it seems they both work off of the master cylinder. However the brake smart did just that, they got way to smart for themselves. The first thing i found on the brake smart is that every time you hook to your tralier you have to cal the brake controller. The second thing i really dont care for is all of the different settings on this thing. I mean come on people. I dont want to have to attend a 3 week course on how my brake controller works.

im still with my brakesmart. ZERO issues, and to cal it, all i do is hold the manual break al the way in. all it does is check resistance to see how many axles it is feeding to. pulling doubles is NICE with my breaksmart...
