toss the cat, you wont lose any power, dont know where you heard that , but its just fine....it will get louder well my did with the aero turbine muffler and no cat, it almost sounds like a glasspack at certain rpms, but the truck runs good...probally will junk the aero and replace it with a mbrp muff....

Yeah, get it out of there. The truck has absolutely no way of knowing if its there or not, its a passsive system. You should see a slightly better spool up with the reduced restriction, however, its more noticeable on higher mileage trucks.

do you have the short or long Aero? i have the short and am thinking about puting it in my system to quiet my stacks a bit...

my kitty went to the pound, and if i were to go back in time it would have been lost LONG before the muffler...

I have an MBRP strait through muff right now with the cat. I dont like it. Doesnt sound good at high rpm and people ask me if I have a gas engine when it idles. Soon as I get back to the west coast im going back to Strait pipe. Still debating the cat issue. I have heard leave or it will void the warranty. Whats the story there?
