Going to Ohio tomorrow to pick up a 2001 ram3500 4x4 ext cab diesel dually I bought with 130k on her. It's going to replace my old 97f350. It'll be pulling a 42'car carrier for me. I'm excited paid $8500 for her and it's got most of the power goodies installed! and just had the tranny rebuilt so it should be good for a bit. Im not a big fan of autos but for that price I'll deal with it.

I went to Canton to pick it up. Took a tow dolly out on the back of a Silverado then hooked the dolly to the dodge and towed the chevy back. The truck ran great and pulled the chevy over the mountains in WV without a hickup! It was a long ride, left at 2pm Sat and got back about 5:30am on Sunday covered about 1,000 miles. Seems to be a nice rig with 4" exhaust, K&N air filter and updated injectors. It also has a detroit locker in the rear which might makes things interesting when backing the 43" trailer in tight spots.

You said the trans was rebuilt any upgrades? Wish I had put my Goerend bros VB/TC in the truck the day I bought.
