You need to check and see if your tires are E or D rated. I personally recommend E rated tires for a 3/4 ton.

    Tow Rig Tires

I tow a 37 foot toyhauler with my F250 and have used LT305/70/R16E Firestone Destination A/T's and have only gotten 25,000 miles out of them. I am looking into new tires, Nitto Dura Grapler's, Michelin LTX, Gooldyear Wrangler Silent Armor, Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo, Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S (G053) and the Toyo Open Country A/T. All are "E" rated. Does anyone suggest one over the other?

I got a set Transforce from Firestone after turning my Rugged Trails into drag slicks. I have been happy with them I have driven them down muddy roads, rocky roads and carried a load of firewood back to our cabin. Did great I just turned 6k on em cant complain.
Check out www.tirerack.com they have great reviews on tires and from the folks whom own them not just sell em.

I run the nitto terra grapler on mine. 305/70/17 E raated. I love them so far. They have about 10 on them and so far I think I should have no problem getting to 40. they ride really quiet for an A/T tire too.

Personal experience with the Michelin LTX is that they wear great (got 60k out of mine) but they're terrible in heavy rain, and down right scary on ice or snow!!!

Ford makes the wheels. They're the stock 17s.
