lucas oil additive

    anyone ever used lucas oil in their diesel? it says to add 1 quart of lucas to 4 quarts of oil.

    I run it in everything we own. I run half the recommened amount in my diesels until I reach the 300K mile mark, 200k on the gassers. Then I run the recommended amount.

    Great product I have used to for years and we sell it on our shop.

    I used it in all the gassers I have owned, but not in the diesel yet. Never had any problems. I was going to put in my Cummins, but decided not yet - I just switched to synthetic.

    The offer a full synthetic version now as well.

    If you run a top quality full synthetic oil, you won't need any additives.

    I ran Lucas 5w20 Diesel Oil for about 10,000 miles it was a little thin for me. I put about 3 quarts in by the end of the oil change interval.

    but she is still rumnning steady on rotella t 5w40
