The Cummins specs for an ISB aren't nearly as impressive as what the Dodge gets either. I'm sure that 8L will be re-tuned for pickup truck highway hauling. It should be good for well over 400 hp meeting 2010 emisions spec if its actually the engine delivered in the Tundra. But ya, when will we see a bed long enough to haul anything?

Considering Toyota builds their Trucks in the Staates and none of the big 3 exclusively do so...I for one am really interested to see where this goes with the 1 ton tundra and propably would buy one if power output is competitive and they offer an 8 foot bed.

Looks like I'm the only one so far who likes the bed! Let me clarify though...definitely needs to be 8ft, but I like the look of the fenders!

Maybe it's just the picture, but that rear diff looks tiny!! Doesn't look nearly as big as my AAM 11.5" in my Dodge.

And my last bit is I'm thinking the LCD screen in the passenger air bag was just put there for the show!

It' s one of the most ugliest trucks ever built so far in the states. Toyota should sty out of the fullsize truck market. Ford builds there Superduties in a plant in kentucky.

have you looked at the front end of the 08 superduty? it looks like some type of an insect. almost as bad as the rear end of the Toyota.rotfl
