Just ordered a Hypertech Max Energy from Thoroughbred Diesel I just want to see (seat of pants feel) the extra power. What do you all think of this programmer?

To be honest, I think there are better products, but you should feel a nice gain and be happy with your new found power.

    X2

There are better programmers out there but you should feel a reasonable increase in power.

Most of us install the first 100hp tune and like a drug we are hooked! Most of us spare no expense in finding the next fix.The problem (if you become a junky) is that there is no fix inside the Hypertech!

Programmers like the Smarty have nearly another 150Hp on tap....Of course other issues come out of the woodwork at these power levels!

Enjoy your first fix...It probably wont be your last!

I have the max energy on my truck. It is a good programer , good power and a nice milage increase, IF your not trying to drag race. If you were just looking for a little x-tra it was a good choice. Enjoy and take it easy on the stage 3 setting .

Well I got the programmer and it is alot nicer waytogo than what it was before. I was suprised that it would break the tires lose in 3rd and bark them in 4th  I'll have a lot of fun with this for a while especially when playing with the little honda cars around here.rotfl

The clutch is definetely next, it sure is easy to slip in 6th or most any other gear for that matter. Maybe new tires soon as well.:doah:
