Anyone ever put a 6.0 Intercooler in a 7.3. I'm wanting to lower my egts, I've heard of doing such but i don't know how big a project it is?
He is asking about putting the intercooler from a 6.0L into his truck as an upgrade to his stock intercooler. No, we have not done an install, but people have talked about it. Basically, it can benefit you a little, but depending on the cost of the 6.0L intercooler, the upgraded intercoolers from Banks and Spearco will give you more power for the buck. Stock is still stock.
Why don't you tell us a little more about the truck? Year, Model, modifications, ect. opcorn: It can be free if you have a big chip and you just need to turn the chip down or it can be spendy if something is wrong.
