I have been hearing a bunch about injectors lately and i was just wondering about them if i were to install some 100hp injectors.......what all else would i have to do? fuel pressure gauge, new pump, probably tranny upgrades then?
Your EGT's will definitely increase so you will want to upgrade your turbo probably... especially if you ever tow.
Those are big injectors for the common rail, personally I would not go any bigger than 50HP and even then, like 4054x4 said you will need to upgrade the charger. I recommend the Super B Click Here for more info. With your Triple Dog you are reaching the limits of your stock turbo already. Are you able to get your pyro up to 1300 now? if so there is no need to add more fuel to the fire, it just gonna get hotter, you need air for more usable HP without EGT's being a restriction. Are you running a Cold Air Intake?
ive gotten the egts to 1000........im not running a CAI yet im putting on an icebox and a CFM+ air intake manifold this christmas then water meth down the road......i was just seeing how big of a deal it would be to put some aftermarket injectors in it......i donno how its lookin now with a new turbo.....im hoping to put a tranny in before a turbo haha im gonna end up having to own this truck until i die to justify putting all this $$$$ in it hahaha
1000 pre or post turbo? Seems pretty cool is that the hottest you can get it if you try...? You will like the Ice Box!
its pre turbo.......i havent really gotten on it yet but when i did it got 1000-1200 or so yea i talked to them and they are going to give me a deal on buying the two together.........black and red icebox and a red intake elbow its gonna be purty:bling:
