I have a 96 F350 w/ about 206K on it. Recently, I have noticed an issue with the turbo. If I take off and continue to accelerate, the pressure continues to increase. However, when I let up, the pressure goes back to 0 and I hear a loud whining via my exhaust. Also, if I accelarate very slowly, it doesn't appear to build much pressure if any. Most of this is noticed at speeds less than 40 or so.

Any ideas? I need to get this figured out as racing season is coming up and this is the tow rig for the hauler....

It sounds normal, was it doing something different before?
