Got pulled over today for a cracked windshield.

    Got pulled over today for a cracked windshield, just got a warning but they must have been bored or something. :doah:

    I dont think they can actually pull u over for that. They just harassing you.

    I guess they can in Colorado anyway, he said the cracked windshield was why he pulled me over.

    That sucks. It is tough to keep a windshield in one piece up there in Colorado...

    Yes "they" can, it's a saftey issue. Infact if the crack is eye level to the driver the driver can be ticketed. In states with vehicle inspections that can cause it to fail inspection.

    "They" use small things like that to get you to the side of the road. Once on the side they are able to look for bigger offences. If your clean most times you will just get a warning, writen or verbal depending on the agency.

    Yep, the crack was eye level, I just got a warning, in fact I had it replaced the next day.

    Are you the same guy that has/had the ColoradoK5 website? Years ago when I had my K5 I spent a lot of time on that site.

    Man police will pull you over for anything they can. Ive been pulled over for hugging the center stripe before, then he made me pass all kinds of tests to make sure i wasnt drinking. All I was doing was driving down th4e road. There are so many little things that if they wanna pull you over they will find a way.

    Well, in Florida if you have full coverage insurance you don't pay a deductable for the front window. I have seen trucks put out of service for cracked windshields before.
