So I started making a little cash on the side by hauling hay from Colorado to Texas. In doing so last weekend, I found myself with the heaviest load ive had to date. At the scale(just for sh**s and giggles) with a 30+5 triple axle gooseneck i weighed in at 28,820  Whats yalls heaviest load?

Before some of you tell me im a hazzard on the road, let me tell you that no tire was overloaded and i had very good brakes. So stopping wasnt an issue.

Anybody familiar with Gunnison pass in Colorado? wow:doah:

I once grossed 42k in my F350. Not a fun time. I rented out my dump trailer that a 10ton. When I picked it up it was grossly overloaded. Had to stay off the highway as the load did not seem safe. Once I got to the dump that I was weighed the ticket showed me the weight. Thank god nothing happened.

    23600 on a 2 axle gooseneck and my 2500.
    11200 on just my 2500.

at least thats the heaviest I've scaled at. I'm fairly sure I've been heavier both with and without a trailer.

Came across the co op scales at 40,000lbs with a load of hay. truck weighed 8k so the 35' trailer loaded was at 32k. Really heavy! '06 chevy 3500 and 35' triple axle trailer. Chevy pulled it fine. I was just praying some knuckle head in a honda didn't pull out in front of me.
