depends on what time of year it is
I just did another cummins water pump. I have had a few cummins trucks and every one of them lost the water pump right around 101,000 miles. So if you have one, you may as well just replace the pump at around 95k or so just to be safe

Don't know why it took so long for a reply to your thread.

I just sold my 2000 3500 Dodge cummins at 205,000 miles with no water pump problems. My friend has a 2001 2500 Dodge Cummins with 27+,000 miles on it and has replaced his water pump about 9 months ago.

There was a thread on TDR a long time ago about this subject that was asked to a guy who hauled RV's out of Indiana with a 94 Dodge 12V 3500.
His response was, well I had to replace my waterpump around 750,000 miles if I remember correctly. Truck had 1.2 million miles on it.

So, I guess there is no real good answer.
