when i bought the truck in jan 2006 they were not selling the mega cab dually yet they did not start until mid 2006

so i bought a 3500 swr and when we converted to long bed we also converted to a dually

how did u tell it was not a factory dually ( because it has no cab lights)

I'm with everyone else, love the cab but hate no long bed. I have needed the long bed to much.

Mine is a great rig. No problems pulling a gooseneck or my toy hauler. Power is excellent and if you have passengers, the rear seating area is awesome. You can truly fit 5 full grown people in the truck for a long trip without them complaining. That is worth the money to me. The short bed is a negative, but I have done without. Great tow rig. I will buy another in 8 years.

One thing that I might add that is GOOD about the mega, is that they are balanced really well.

To me, it feels like my Mega rides a little smoother than a quad cab long bed, and the rear end stays hooked a tad better under hard acceleration.

    Just what I've found anyway.

Couldn't agree more. Much more expensive. In my opinion, not worth it.
