What's the 5th wheel weigh. I towed our 25 foot toyhauler with a 1985 suburban with a 350. It needed help, but the 5.4L seems faster than the old 350's and toyhaulers are pretty heavy. So if it is a regular 5th type(non toyhauler), it might not weigh to much. It will probably weigh 5-6000lbs. Our toyhauler weighs 9000.

I just looked up towing spec. on trailerlife.com and it says your trucks tow rating is somewhere between 7700 and 9200 depending on model and gear ratios

It can be done but it is not a smart thing to do I picked up my first fiver with am F150 Supercrew 5.4 offroad pac and tow pac and edge attitude programmer. It felt like it did ok on the flatter areas. But once in the Mountains of East TN and N.C it struggled. Bought a dodge 3500 ctd drw. it feels so much safer and it is a lot more fun to drive with the fiver hooked up. The fuel milage is a lot better while pulling. the F150 got 13mpg on the interstate pulling 9200 the dodge gets 16 to 17 on the same route. Do you self a favor and get a larger truck. it will pull so much better.

Your F150 has the engine power with car like equipment. Ride to soft and the engine will not cool enough for comfort. Tires will not be right, and will need attention. You need 50lbs C rating tires to safety tow with a 1/2 ton truck. You will feel on the edge most of the time as the springs will feel to soft.
I towed a 5k 5th wheel with a Ranger 2.9l STX 1/4 ton with plenty of power and my F250 6.0l diesel tows 15.5k trailer and loaded tool boxes in the box with similar empty mpg and better mpg towing. The ride of my F250 is also much better both loaded and empty. Better then some 1/2 tons.
