I'm new to the industry as well as to this site. I started a part time hot shot company several months ago to help a friend who had too much business. I own my own truck, trailer and company with USDOT, MC and TXDOT. I'm seeing a lot of opportunity but also much more regulation than I expected and more than I planned on dealing with, but I'm becoming more educated to the trucking industry by the day.
