Sounds like a good rig. 02 was one of the best years for the 7.3. Time to start moddin it out, chip....exhaust....intake....gauges..... :D

good truck i have a 2002 X love it and you will be happy with it for years but

well the 2001 might be better the dif is the 2001and older have forged rods and the newer is cast so if you want more then 500hp you will need new rods

on my 2002 x lim i did the gages and the whicked wheel to the terbo and tag and but the banks big head on it and 4in banks out the back i allso did the programer at 100 hp but it is to much for ever day so it is at 70 and towing

Not too many people take the 7.3 to 500+hp. What I meant was, it was a fairly high HP truck stock, and virtually all of the problems were worked out of them at this point.

You might want to get with Bo (Intecerptor on CK5) as he has a 02 CC Dually w/ the 7.3. He could give you first hand knowledge as to what has worked for him in Colorado. I know he has several mods done to his rig.

Yep, I got my bellhousing adapter and a few other key parts from these guys. While the prices are a little high, they are the only ones that do it, and are very knowledgable.
