Reg. gas was close to 2.60 yesterday afternoon and was 3.20 this morinng. Diesel jumped from 2.50 to 3.15 at the same station. Yes that's right a 0.65 jump over night  Price gouging sucks. The one across the street still had reg. gas at 2.66. :doah: But at least there is gas to be had. In Mississippi and Alabama stations are running out and say they won't get any more for at least a week. I say we take the tree huggers and build a refinery somewhere and force them to work it and when they sabotage it we shoot them on the spot, then hire some mexicans for less than min. wage. That would sure help. :D :stir:

Paid 3.11 for diesel this morning, cost me $50 to put 16 gallons in the Jetta and it will last me 3 days (600 miles) with my commute . I don't even want to think about putting 38 gallons in the truck. :doah: Seriously thinking about building a bio rig in my garage...

About 3.29 here. I filled up at 3.15 to try and beat it just a little. Regardless, it's going to get higher and only stay that way for probably at least another month.

It is about 110 miles a day, from Modesto to Pleasanton and back. Not as bad as some commuters. When I worked at 3Com that was 175+ miles a day :doah:
I have been totaly cruzing latley and getting upwards of 21mpg waytogo so I am streaching the fuel out as much as I can nowa days.

Reg unlead is 3.09 to 3.13 everywhere Diesel is 2.59 to 2.74. Finally diesel is cheper than gas again to bad gas had to go up over .50 to make that happen. Will diesel prices follow?

I filled up ~50 gal on my DMax 2 days ago just E of the AZ/Cali line on I10 (Blyth/Quartzite) at $2.75. Ran that on into Phoenix and topped it off again today with almost exactly 10 gallons at $3.10 per... That gives me about 55 gallons of useful capacity and I don't travel much, maybe I can wait it out... If not, that next fillup is going to HURT!

The same station that diesel jumped 0.65 the night before last jumped another 0.75 last night to a cool $4.00 a gal. Reg. unleaded at the same station went to $3.50. Across the street diesel is in the low 3 dollar range and a 1/4 mi. down the road diesel is $2.85. Seems like someone is tryin to line their pockets, the only problem was nowbody was getting gas there they were all down the street rotfl I also saw the interview of the guy in Atlanta the had gas over $6, He was definately not from this country and appeared to be from the middle east. :doah:
