18' +2' dovetail 14klb PJ bumper pull with all the options. Crossmembers on 12" centers. Bulldog hitch blah blah blah. Tow rig in sig. imp:
well this thread needs a bump. and i got some new pics of my rig. now i can actually tow up hills and slight grades. its frickin awsome. waytogo
rotfl rotfl Yeah, going from a small block gasser to a Diesel is so dramatic of a jump in performance I can still hardly believe what I was missing.
Here is my truck and My Jeep before I re-assembled it And here is my truck pulling 1 of our churches 5 Enclosed trailers used for church plants. (this one is the smallest,- 24' 7000-8000lbs )
Here are a couple towing pics that I have. Here is my 69 when I went and borrowed a buddy's tractor to grade my road. The 454 I put in there pulls the trailer very nicely, I might add. Here is when my buddy with his 1 ton converted to 4wd helped me bring my K20 home from the body shop Here is the 69 a few years ago after I got the flatbed installed. Lastly, here is my whimpy Yukon bringing home a Blazer from Dallas. Maybe a little overload on those 1/2 ton springs.
YYYYEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! YJ in The HOUSEwaytogo Towing already egh YJ? Cool...so I take it the engine is working great so far? Awesomewaytogo Burt
Yep, the engine is running real well. It will pull a healthy third gear scratch with the Detroit hooking up both tires. Great recipe for breaking something :doah:
Here's our Junk that we tow... The blazer The sled trailer the boat And lastly...the single axle monster....a huge 1,300lbs capacity...half tons beware...opcorn:
Pretty cool, huh? I got a smokin deal on it. That 32' 5th wheel was cheaper than a 26' bumper pull. And it has a slide!
6 pages long and i have not posted mine yet.. odd... here it is.. and a couple looks at the blazer. Grant
