07 5.9 3/4 ton

why is my fuel mileage overhead monitor not accurate,it's not within 20% of my actual mpg, my dealer says it just makes people think they are getting good mileage, I don't buy it.regrets trading up from an 04.5

 

Mine was off until the computer was flashed . Now it is pretty close. You might check into that.

I've pretty much run it thru the mill,checking things out,I've run it with the predator chip and without it still the same results about 20% difference, I'm going to try to get my dealer to put in another unit on find a way to calibrate this one,thanks alot,mrgenz

 

My understanding, theres a software update (dealer) for the 07's that fixes it.

 

mine is pretty dang accurate. only about .3 off.
