Hello Everybody, Just did my first truck pull over the weekend and figured I would share with you guys how it went. First of all I had a blast, and when they hooked that sled to my truck I think they hooked me to truck pulling. I ended up getting 3rd place in the diesel class. I think I might have won it if I had a little more tire tread and turn my truck down a little bit because I think I was over powering the track.I'm going to try and post a short video of one of my runs. Ones i figure out how to covert the file to one that work on this site.
What kind of tires are you running? Where did you pull at? I have thought about pulling also but, there just is not anything like that going on here. LT.
I am running Nitto Terra Grapplers but they are wore out I am just about to the wear bar up front and have hit it in the back. The place that I pulled at was in Glenrock, Wy during there Deercreek days.If you get a chance to do it jump on it its a blast.I used to not be interested in pulling sorta thought it was dumb boy was I wrong.So now its one more motorsport that I'm involved in next one is Sept 28.Cant wait already getting ready for it.
Addictive, isn't it!!! I hooked up in Vegas back at May Madness 2 years ago and have been hooked since. As soon as we get my Drag project running, we are going to start on a full blown modified pull truck. No, I don't take anything to an extreme or anything!
