Anyone tried putting 35" tires on an 03-05 4x4? The stock tires are starting to look small
I don't want to lift it at all. Just wondering what the tallest tires that will fit are?

    thanks

i was running 315's on my 04.5 2wd and it rubbed a tiny bit. im sure a 4x4 would not rub near as much if at all...

good luck finding a 315 in e rate. d rates will work if you dont tow heavy, but i do... they ride great unloaded as well.

Bryan I am running the BFG's in the write up and haven't had any rubbing issues. I have also towed my K5 a few times on a 100 or so mile trips and haven't had any problems. Some say the D rated tires can cause death wobble and such, but I haven't experienced any at all.

Spec's from BFG website for the AT
    LT315/70R17/D load rating 3195@50

    Spec's from Nitto's website
    LT325/65R18 121R200-47016.534.8812.999.0-(9.5)-10.03195@50

I am pretty sure the Nitto's are E rated, but the load rating is the same for the BFG D rated tire.

There is a pretty big debate on here whether or not the D rated tires will cut it. I guess it's up to the owner to decide.....
