Is there anyway to change the fixed middle part of the 40/20/40 seat in a 2006 Chevy HD from the fixed upright position to a layed down position so I can have a arm rest?? Thanks for the help!!

It is either a WT or Base package regular cab 2500 HD. Would just like to have a arm rest without having to buy a after market console to set on the seat. Thanks!!

Huh...not positive but I think that youre stuck. Unless you can find a way to modify it then I believe it is designed to stay up.

If it is a seperate seat you could look into replacing it with one from an 05. Be warned though if someone sits in the center that seat back does not recline and it is almost 90 degrees. If you want/need measurements let me know I have the extended cab 05 2500hd with the armrest in the center. Not sure but they should be the same thing inside so I can get the inf for you. Good luck
