    Looks like it hangs down a little farther that the old tank but for most of the trucks they stay on road and tow so thats not much of a problem, do they have a skid plate for them?, whats your range now?

    The tank is steel and I don't go offroad so that is not a problem.
    52 gallons @ 15mpg= 780 miles highway
    52 gallons @ 11mpg= 572 miles towing

    So what was the cost? That would give me about 800 miles on a tank or so and along with a slip tank in the bed I could double that or more, thanks for all the info.

    I think the retail price was about $850.00. You can install it in 3.5 hours.
