We've had 3 already with the check engine light on, haha. 2 I know for a fact needed thermostats. And one of those also had an ICP sensor code. The tech contacted tech hotline, they said "yea some of them left without ever getting plugged in, so check the connection under the valve cover" rotfl

There was some talk about high idle issues as well. Seems like that would be a semi dangerous situation to have happen.

Well, I expect they will get it all worked out. They will have to if they want to stay in the truck business.

yeh you should wait a year. but i talked to a service guy at the ford dealer a couple days ago, and he said so far all the trucks the dealer has sold have been good. theyve had a couple come back for little idle problems, but so far so good.

Ive seen 2 in the past week on the side of the interstate with the hoods up. They were obviously BRAND NEW trucks, because they didnt have beds yet, Im assuming they were heading to an upfitter.....

I myself have a 2008 F450 that was a cab and chassis, put a jerrdan wrecker on it and turned it into a tow truck, ive had ran it about two weeks then it had went down, ford couldnt find the problem for a month then the found out that the person who had put the PTO in had put a screw through the factory wiring harness, but now that had been fixed the truck has not had any problems since, you can check out the whole thread here
