I've been fighting this for a while now and I can't find an answer. 04 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel, tow package. the stock 7 blade connector was jacked so I replaced it with a Hopkins. For the life of me I cannot get a left turn signal to show at the connector. Everything else works fine. Colors are not as described in any publication or online forum I've visited. Red with Purple - 12V+ Lt Green - Rt turn Dk green 2 black wires Yellow - Left Turn? Brown White with Green Someone please help me figure what I'm doing wrong. The truck lights work fine and I'm about to tap into the wire going to the left tail light. Thanks.
Today I learned a lesson. There are seperate fuses on 2500's with tow package for the left, right and running lights on your trailer. I've never owned a truck nice enough to have this feature. My left turn fuse was blown. Now that I feel like a moron, I can at least know that I wired everything correctly. Sorry for wasting anyone's reading time.
well i will be the first one to come out and say i have also spent an entire day stabbing wires and looking for juice when i had a blown fuse. you arent the only one brother......who else is going to fess up?
