    Any one know the pin schematic of the GM 7-pin trailer plug? I need to know wich pin is for electric brakes??

    Argh... I hate these stupid things.... my connectors are all "color coded" and none of the dang wires are right....

    then take a plug apart and start moving around wires, its not a big deal
    at work my light test box i plug into to test trucks is wired for flat 4, round 6, round 6 hillbilly, rv7, rv7 hillbilly, and semi 7.
    different people and companies wire them different. brake, charge and ground tend to be the most switched.

    yeah, I know it's no big deal on trailers that I own... I just want to get it as close to right as possible so I don't have to re-wire everytime I hook up to a different one.

    of course I've had just as many problems with bad wiring on the 4-flats.
