The current hitch that I use is made by Andersen Manfg. Here is the web site, http://ultrahitch.rpmsolutions.biz/index.cfm?section=73 The only problem that I have with it is one of my trailers is a race car trailer that really needs to have a load distrubting hitch and anti sway control on it.

i have seen these...12k lb tow cap i think? just something about them scares me a little. maybe all aluminum? plus i would have to get the 10"er i bet and being on the low setting it just looks like there would be a disadvantage with leverage pulling on the top piece. maybe im just being paranoid. I was lookin for something solid first I guess...solid steel maybe.

They are all aluminum. They are rated to 10,000 lbs. I bought this hitch because there is only the two pins used. I looked at using a B&W tow and stow hitch but they use four pins on the hitch. My friend has one but after lots of hard use the pins have wallowed out the holes and there is a ton of slop in it now. I pulled my race car trailer over loaded to Salt Lake City from my home here in New Mexico without any problems, about 600 miles one way. I use it because I tow a varity of different trailers and I was always having to switch out hitches. With this one I am able to tow all the trailers without any problems.

I have also had a rapid hitch for over 3 years now and I still love it.
