Just installed an aftermarket mech temp gauge. will not having the stock temp gauge affect the computers readings for fuel delivery? and were would you hook up and aftermarket one if I need to re hook the stock one up? truck runs good still but someone on another forum told me i had to keep the stocker hooked up or the truck wouldn't fuel correctly. What do you think?

Nope. I have my factory gauge, and my Attitude monitor also gives me a digital engine coolant temp reading from the ECM.

well you are pretty brave to trust those computer controlled guages:confused:
i have fuel pressure water temp oil pressure boost tranny and egt's all on gauges for my peice of mind. I used to blow up motors on gassers all the time trusting the factory gauges and idiot lights. again they were datsun Z cars that it happened to but i dont trust electric gauges.

Yep. But at least it gives me a digital degree for degree readout in real time rather than a vague buffered idiot factory gauge.
